Four friends set out on a mission to save the Earth and therein lies the dilemma. In today’s world, what does “saving the Earth” look like? This story is no easy pill to swallow. It occurs less in an alternate reality but more with an alternate mindset. It will make you question everything. It redefines the role of a hero without cynicism or hype. It is a sweet story containing a series of twists and turns that will shock you and possibly change your definition of good and evil. Jump into their vintage, cartoonish Volkswagen van and join them in their magical world of sci-fi meets fantasy.

This story originally appeared in a play of the same title written by John Sarabia. To say that it was well received is an understatement. A community of actors had come together to join the project. We built our own sets and made our costumes and rehearsed for months. It was truly a labor of love. The audiences were blown away by the journey that we took them on. The performances used experimental techniques and felt otherworldly. Some people claimed that it changed their view of life. Every performance was sold out! Now after stewing in the author’s mind for almost 30 years, a metamorphosis of storytelling has occurred. The characters were so iconic. They live in a world filled with love and joy. They were unforgettable. So many people felt themselves represented by one of the four main characters. The author had to advance their story and bring it into this millennium. Could he give them the ultimate challenge? How to maintain your childlike innocence while participating in the most inhumane of missions ever asked of anyone in history.
